Harmon Environmental, PA personnel routinely conduct wetlands and waters of the US delineation activities for our clients. These delineation activities are conducted in general accordance with the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual published in January 1987 by the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Army Corps of Engineers Jurisdictional Determination Form Instructional Guidebook, published by the US Army Corps of Engineers in May 2007.
Following delineation of wetlands and jurisdictional waters of the US, Harmon Environmental, PA personnel work with the selected survey firm to prepare delineation maps for inclusion in the site specific Jurisdictional Determination Requests for submission to the US Army Corps of Engineers. Harmon Environmental, PA personnel typically meet with Corps personnel at the site to discuss the project and negotiate any modifications requested during the site visit. These site meetings routinely minimize the areas of the site restricted by the Jurisdictional Determination.
Our clients include both residential and commercial developers seeking to maximize the useable area of the site and minimize regulatory interference associated with the proposed development. To achieve these goals, Harmon Environmental, PA personnel typically work with both the client and the selected design firm to appropriately utilize the available property with minimal encroachment into the designated wetlands and Jurisdictional Waters of the US.
